These Membership Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in Girl Tribe Worldwide (“GTWW,” “Girl Tribe”  “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing, enrolling in, or renewing a membership (“Membership”), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not enroll.

 

1. Membership Program

GTWW is a private membership-based community organization. Membership provides access to community engagement, communications, programming, and eligibility to apply for discretionary assistance through the Girl Tribe Collective Fund (“Fund”).

GTWW is not a bank, insurance provider, investment vehicle, fiduciary, or charitable trust.

Membership does not create a partnership, joint venture, ownership interest, or fiduciary relationship.

2. Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 18 years old

• Provide accurate and truthful information

• Maintain payment in good standing

• Comply with these Terms

GTWW reserves sole discretion to approve, deny, suspend, or terminate any Membership.

3. Fees & Payment

Membership fees may be offered as:

• $50 annual

• $50 monthly

• Or other pricing tiers as announced

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination without notice.

You authorize GTWW to charge your payment method for recurring renewals if selected.

Chargebacks or payment disputes may result in immediate termination and potential collection action.

4. No Refunds

All payments are final.

No refunds will be issued for:

• Partial terms

• Inactivity

• Voluntary cancellation

• Termination for violation

• Failure to apply for benefits

5. The Girl Tribe Worldwide Collective Fund

5.1 Nature of the Fund

The Fund is a discretionary financial assistance pool funded in part by Membership dues.

It is not:

• An entitlement program

• A guaranteed benefit

• Insurance

• A trust account for Members

GTWW retains full control over Fund administration.

5.2 Minimum Threshold

Applications will only be accepted when the Fund reaches a minimum balance of $5,000.

GTWW may suspend applications at any time.

5.3 No Ownership Interest

Members have:

• No ownership rights

• No vested interest

• No claim to Fund assets

• No right to an accounting

Membership does not create any property right in Fund assets.

6. Applications for Assistance

To apply, a Member must:

• Be active and in good standing

• Submit requested documentation

• Provide truthful information

False statements constitute fraud and may result in termination and legal action.

7. Committee Authority

Applications are reviewed by the Girl Tribe Worldwide Leadership Committee.

The Committee has sole, absolute, and final discretion to:

• Approve or deny applications

• Determine award amounts

• Establish review criteria

• Prioritize requests

Decisions are final and not subject to appeal.

GTWW is not required to provide reasoning for denial.

8. No Guarantee of Assistance

Membership does not guarantee:

• Eligibility

• Approval

• Any specific award amount

• Timing of distribution

Funds may be exhausted.

9. Use of Funds

Recipients agree to use distributed funds for the stated hardship purpose.

GTWW may request documentation confirming use.

Misuse may result in termination and legal remedies.

10. Community Conduct

Members agree to:

• Engage respectfully

• Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or harmful conduct

• Maintain confidentiality

• Avoid defamatory statements about GTWW

GTWW may terminate Membership at its sole discretion.

11. Intellectual Property

All branding, content, logos, materials, and communications are the exclusive property of Girl Tribe Worldwide.

No reproduction or commercial use without written consent.

12. Privacy & Confidentiality

GTWW will use reasonable efforts to maintain confidentiality of hardship applications.

However:

• Absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed

• Digital systems carry risk

• Legal disclosure may be required

Members consent to limited impact reporting, anonymized unless express written consent is provided.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GTWW and its founders, officers, committee members, affiliates, agents, and representatives shall not be liable for:

• Denial of assistance

• Fund depletion

• Delays

• Emotional distress

• Lost income

• Reputational harm

• Indirect or consequential damages

Total liability shall not exceed the total Membership fees paid in the prior twelve (12) months.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GTWW from any claims arising from:

• False applications

• Misuse of funds

• Violation of these Terms

• Unlawful conduct

15. Tax Disclaimer

Girl Tribe Worldwide is not a 501(c)(3) organization.

Membership fees and Fund contributions are not tax-deductible charitable donations.

You are responsible for consulting your own tax advisor.

16. Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

16.1 Binding Arbitration

Any dispute arising out of or relating to Membership, the Fund, or these Terms shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in Connecticut.

The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding.

16.2 Class Action Waiver

All disputes must be brought on an individual basis.

You waive the right to:

• Participate in a class action

• Participate in class arbitration

• Bring representative claims

The arbitrator may not consolidate claims.

16.3 Jury Waiver

You waive the right to a jury trial.

16.4 Informal Resolution

You agree to attempt good-faith resolution with GTW for 30 days before initiating arbitration.

17. Limitation Period

Any claim must be brought within one (1) year of the event giving rise to the claim.

18. Termination

GTW may suspend or terminate Membership at any time for:

• Non-payment

• Fraud

• Misconduct

• Harmful behavior

• Violation of these Terms

Termination may occur without notice.

No refunds will be issued.

19. Modifications

GTWW may modify these Terms at any time.

Continued participation constitutes acceptance.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.

21. Severability

If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

If the class action waiver is deemed unenforceable, the arbitration provision is void.

22. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Girl Tribe Worldwide.
